Interpreter Services Request (For Districts)

We are excited to announce the addition of the Interpreter Service Requests Form. This new feature allows for seamless requests for Substitute Educational Interpreters to cover district-hired interpreters, ensuring continuous support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Additionally, districts can request Adult Interpreter services to provide interpretation for parents and community members during district meetings and events. These services are available at a two hour minimum.

NIA searches for a qualified interpreter and ensures compliancy with legal requirements.

Assignment Confirmation

District receives email with interpreter(s) assigned to the request.

Invoicing

NIA invoices the district for the services provided.

We are thrilled to introduce our new Interpreter Service Sign-Up Form! This streamlined form simplifies the process of signing up for Educational and Adult Interpreter assignments within the NIA districts. Now, you can quickly access job opportunities that align with your skills and availability.

Review Open Vacancies

Interpreter reviews vacancy on NIA website and selects the Vacancy ID for the vacant assignment.

Sign Up For An Open Vacancy

Interpreter completes the sign up form using the Vacancy ID found on the website.

Confirmation Email

Interpreter receives an email confirming the assignment request. NIA Reviews submission.

Assignment Reviewed

Assignment request is reviewed by NIA to determine approval.

Assignment Confirmation

District and Interpreter receive email with confirmation of interpreter assignment. If new to NIA, Interpreter will receive onboarding requirement instructions.

Service Provided

Interpreter provides the services as requested.
