Supported Employment Program (STEP)

• Students aged 15 1/2 - 21 with orthopedic, vision or hearing impairments
• Serving students in Rockford #205, Aurora East #131, Carpentersville-Dundee #300, Mid Valley Special Education Cooperative, NIA Deaf Program
• Develop job skills
• Provide job training
• Assist students to find jobs in community
• Job coach support for on-site assistance and adaptation
• Link with DRS
• Assists with transition as student leaves school
