Purpose of Stipend 
To provide funding for an occupational or physical therapy student interested in working with children in public education who, upon receiving a professional license, agrees to commit to employment with the Northwestern Illinois Association for a specified time period. 

Amount And Use of Stipend

• Up to $20,000 in return for four (4) years of service.
• Up to $10,000 in return for two (2) years of services.
• Stipend will fund costs for tuition, room and board, books, fees and other similar charges associated with obtaining an entry level degree.
• Stipend applies to the final two years of education.

Closing Date:  July 1, 2009

• Scholastic excellence.
• Financial need.  
• Eagerness to work with children in a team atmosphere.
